First-aid measures

- Inhalation: Assure fresh air breathing. Obtain medical attention if breathing difficulty persists.
- Skin contact: For even minor contact, immediately remove contaminated clothing/wash skin thoroughly with mild soap / water. Wash clothing before re-using.
- Eye contact: In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water (15 min) and seek medical advice. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persist.
- Ingestion: Assure fresh air breathing. Place the victim in the recovery position. Give water to drink if victim completely conscious/alert. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Obtain medical attention.
General information: Obtain medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray. Carbon dioxide. Dry chemical. Alcohol foam.
Product arising from burning: Smokes, fumes, CO, CO2
Protective equipment: Wear proper protective equipment. Pressure demand self-contained breathing apparatus should be provided to fire fighters in building or confined area where the material is stored.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions:
Equip cleanup crew with proper protection. Respiratory protection equipment may be necessary. Remove ignition sources.

Environmental precautions:
Prevent entry to sewers and public waters. May contaminate water supplies. Notify authorities if product enters sewers or public waters.

After spillage and/or leakage:
Sweep or shovel spills into appropriate container for disposal. Flush residue with large amounts of water. Cleaning residues containing this material may be classified hazardous waste. Use appropriate container to avoid environmental contamination.

Handling and storage

Handling :
Avoid all unnecessary exposure.
Use good housekeeping practices to avoid exposure. Use respiratory protection if exposure is expected.
Provide adequate ventilation to minimize dust concentrations. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety procedures. Ensure prompt removal from eyes, skin and clothing. Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eat, drink or smoke and when leaving work.

Storage:
Keep container closed when not in use.
Store in dry, cool, well-ventilated area.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Personal protection
- Respiratory protection: Use repsiratory protection if exposure is expected.
- Hand protection: Gloves.
- Skin protection: If skin contact or contamination of clothing is likely, protective clothing should be worn.
- Eye protection: Eye protection, including both chemical splash goggles and face shield, must be worn when possibility exists for eye contact due to spraying liquid or airborne particles.
- Ingestion: When using, do not eat, drink or smoke.
Industrial hygiene: Local exhaust is recommended.

Stability and reactivity

Hazardous decomposition products: When heated to decomposition, emits dangerous fumes.
Hazardous reactions: Reacts with: Oxidizing agent.
Hazardous Polymerization: Hazardous polymerization may occur.
Hazardous properties: None under normal conditions.
Conditions to avoid: Flame. Heat. Light.

Disposal considerations

Disposal: Hazardous waste due to toxicity. Avoid release to the environment.
Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations.
