Any other information on results incl. tables

The correlation between the temperature of the oven and the sample temperature of Acid Yellow RN 2903 is shown in Figure 1 in the attached section.

Using a linear increase in temperature of about 0.5 °C/min, Acid Yellow RN 2903 showed an exothermic reaction starting at about 280 °C. A maximum temperature of 459 °C was measured in the sample cube during the exothermic reaction.

The test item is a fine powder. At the end of the measurement, the test item was carbonized and colored black.

Acid Yellow RN 2903 showed a relative self-ignition temperature at about 291 °C.

The atmospheric pressure during the measurement was 99.1 kPa.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Acid Yellow RN 2903 is auto-flammable under the conditions of the test.
Executive summary:

During this study, the self-ignition temperature was determined. Therefore, the test item was filled into a cube and heated in an oven. The temperatures of the oven and the sample were continuously recorded while the temperature of the oven was increased to approximately 400 °C.

Acid Yellow RN 2903 shows a relative self-ignition temperature at about 291 °C. Therefore, the test item Acid Yellow RN 2903 is auto-flammable under the conditions of the test.

The atmospheric pressure during the measurement was 99.1 kPa.
