In contact with the ignition source, Acid Yellow RN 2903 only emitted sparks and glowed. After a contact time of about 2 minutes with the ignition source, the surface of the test item was black and carbonized. Underneath the unaltered test item remained.

 

Acid Yellow RN 2903 could not be ignited with a flame during the preliminary test (contact time of about 2 minutes).

 

Therefore, no main test was performed.
