Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Skin sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Endpoint conclusion:
no adverse effect observed (not sensitising)
Additional information:

Sufficiently reliable animal studies using the test material considered in this registration dossier found no evidence of sensitisation. Also, a close chemical analogue of the test substance produced a 10 % positive response - as this is < 15 % of animals it is inappropriate to classify the chemically similar substance as a skin sensitiser under the terms of Directive 67/548/EEC or as a Skin sensitiser Category 1 under GHS as reflected by Regulation (EC) 1272/2008.

Migrated from Short description of key information:
The test material is non-sensitising (OECD 406).

Respiratory sensitisation

Endpoint conclusion
Additional information:

Neither the test material, or its close chemical analogue, meet the criteria for classification as a skin sensitiser under the terms of Directive 67/548/EEC or GHS as reflected by Regulation (EC) 1272/2008.
