Additional information

Bioaccumulation potential of the substance was assessed by conducting the bioconcentration flow-through fish test on Cyprinus carpio. This study was performed in accordance with GLP principles and based on the OECD test guideline 305.

Prior to the BCF study, acute toxicity test on fish (96 h, Oryzias latipes) was performed according to Japanese standard 71 of JIS K 0102-1998. The LC50-value of 16.3 mg/l was used to select the highest concentration of test substance for this study. The highest BCF-value measured at a test concentration of 0.01 mg/l after 28 days exposure was chosen as a key value for CSA.

Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the substance does not have potential for bioaccumulation. This study is considered to be reliable with restrictions and can be used in deriving C&L of the substance in accordance with the criteria set out in Directive 67/548/EC and Regulation (EC) 1272/2008.
