Description of key information

The following physical-chemical properties were identified for Disperse Red 386:

Appearance: red solid (bulky material)

Melting point: 250 °C

Boiling point: not determinable

Density: 1.53 g/cm³ at 20 °C (EC A.3, OECD 109: gas comparison method)

Particle size distribution: MMAD= 126.568 µm; D50= 102.324 µm; D10= 7.401 µm and D90= 351.112 µm (Laser diffraction analysis-'wet' small volume dispersion method).

Vapour pressure at 25 °C (298 K): <0.12 Pa (<9.3 x10E-4 mm Hg).

Partition coefficient: Pow = 6.1

Water solubility:≤24.5 ng/l at 20 °C (OECD 105, EC A.6: column elution method)
