Description of key information
The substance is not inherently biodegradable, and therefore considered as not readily biodegradable.

According to the OECD Guideline 302 C (Inherent Biodegradability: Modified MITI Test (II)) 19 % degradation within 56 days was observed for the substance (Currenta 2010). The test was not performed under GLP-conditions, but conducted in a certified laboratory and well documented. Since 19 % degradation was observed with the inherent test design only, no ready biodegradation is expected. Therefore further testing on biodegradation is scientifically unjustified.
