Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Under the test conditions, the flash point of the substance was determined to be 131°C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
131 °C

Additional information

This study was conducted to determine the flash point by closed cup according to the EU method A.9 and ASTM D 3828 Standard Test Methods for Flash point.

Two measured were performed using a closed cup tester, by an equilibrium method "small scale", commonly know as Setasflash, where the vapours are deemed to be in temperature equilibrium with the liquid.

The results of the two tests were averaged and rounded off to the nearest degree to obtain the final flash point value of 131°C.
