Additional information

In the expert statement from Bütfering (2013), the explosive properties of Butanedioic acid, sulfo-, 4-C12-14-alkyl esters, disodium salts were investigated according to the “Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods, Manual of Tests and Criteria, Appendix 6, Screening procedures”. Examination of the structure of Butanedioic acid, sulfo-, 4-C12-14-alkyl esters, disodium salts indicates that there are no groups associated with explosive properties. Therefore, negative results can be predicted and no testing for explosive properties has been carried out.

This statement is considered relevant and reliable for the risk assessment.

Justification for classification or non-classification

There are no structural groups associated with explosive properties
