Additional information

The density of the test material has been determined to be 1.0787 g/mL at 20°C, using the pycnometer method (DIN 51757, testing of mineral oils and related materials - determination of density). A reliability rating of 1 was assigned to this (key) study, according to the criteria of Klimisch, 1997 as the study was conducted in accordance with national standard methods and described in sufficient detail; hence, the study is considered reliable and adequate for assessment.

A further experimentally determined density value at 40°C has been provided as a supporting study, using the rotational viscometer (ASTM D 7042): 1.0671 g/mL (at 40°C).
