First-aid measures

Contact with skin: Remove contaminated clothing. Rinse contaminated skin immediately with plenty of water and soap and seek medical advice. Call on First-Aid Emergency number +38612323060.

Contact with eyes: Immediately rinse eyes thoroughly with running water for 20-30 min. Take injured quickly to factory medical center or call an ambulance. Call on First-Aid Emergency number +38612323060

Inhalation: Bring patient immediately to fresh air. If breathing is heavily give oxygen; if necessary respirate artificially. Call physician. Call on First-AidEmergency number +38612323060.

Ingestion: Rinse mouth. In case of unconsciousness keep victim in lateral head-down position, do not give anything by mouth and do not induce vomiting. If swallowed, seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.Call on First-Aid Emergency number +38612323060

Fire-fighting measures

In case of fire try to extinguish the fire, use appropriate extinguishing media: water spray or fog, foam, dry chemical powder, CO2, dry sand.

Special risks: In case of explosion Call on Emergency Call +386 17217306 or manually activate fire alarm by depressing a locally provided push-button. Evacuate the building and assemble at the nearest indicated assembling point. Give directions to firefighting brigade.

Special protective equipment for firefighting: Do not stay in a dangerous zone without self-contained breathing apparatus and fire protective clothing.

Other information: Contain escaping vapors with water. Prevent fire-fighting water from entering surface water or groundwater.

Accidental release measures

Moisten spilled material with water (in order to avoid dust formation), cover with wet sand or wetted binder, then take up. Transfer large quantities into a container, rinse the rest with plenty of water. Put into lead-sealable and labelled drums.

Records must be kept of all incidents involving uncontrolled leakage or spillage of material, indicating in particular the amounts concerned, exposure of personnel and countermeasures taken. Buildings, apparatus, and all items of equipment must be decontaminated and subsequently inspected to ensure that no further risk remains. All equipment and protective garments must be either decontaminated or properly contained for disposal before leaving the area.

Handling and storage

Handle in closed system. Provide exhaust ventilation system in case of open handling of small quantities. Open handling without suitable personal protective equipment must be avoided. Keep container tightly closed. Store container in cool and dry place. Avoid formation of dust.

Protect against oxygen (air), Protect against heat, Protect against sunlight. Do not store together with oxidants.

Exposure controls / personal protection

The personal protective measure may be adapted appropriately when working in closed systems or under laboratory conditions.

Regular cleaning of equipment, work area and clothing. No open handling without using reliable equipment. One technical barrier between substance

and employee resp. environment. Equipment and protective garments must either be decontaminated or properly contained for disposal before leaving the area. Designated washing, changing and shower facilities must be available. Disposable protective equipment is to be decontaminated before removal (decontamination shower). Restricted and controlled access for trained personnel only. Internal working procedures available to personnel covering personal hygiene, decontamination /cleaning, consideration of worst case incidents, spills, emergency, alarms, waste disposal and maintenance. Personnel  comprehensively instructed, highly trained and experienced. Regular refresher training established including appropriate record keeping.

In case of accident:

Respiratory protection: Full face mask with P3 filter is required when dust is generated.

Eye protection: Yes, by face mask when dust is generated.

Normal length chemical-mechanical-resistant gloves (EN374/EN388) worn over disposable gloves

Glove Material : Nitrile

Breakthrough time: 480 min

Thickness: 0.2 mm

Additional protection : Disposable dust-proof suit (EN465, type 4) worn over long underwear

Disposable boot covers, conductive.

Stability and reactivity

Possibility of hazardous reactions - Materials to avoid: oxidants

Preferably handle in closed system.

Disposal considerations

Disposal Requirements: Incineration in an approved, controlled furnace with combustion gas scrubbing and emission gas control.

Container Disposal: Can be incinerated, when in compliance with the Environment Protection. Disposal of wastes and containers in a safe manner.
