Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Henry's Law constant: 0.102 Pa-m3/mole

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
0.102
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The Henry's Law Constant (HLC) of ‘Esterification products of 1,3-dioxo-2-benzofuran-5-carboxylic acid with nonan-1-ol’, calculated using the EPA model HENRYWIN v3.20, is in the range:

HLC bond= (0.099 ÷ 0.231) Pa-m3/mole

HLC group= (0.052 ÷ 0.174) Pa-m3/mole

The key value is within the estimation range of the predicted HLC of the 15 principal components of the assessed UVCB substance.

This estimate is less accurate because that components are outside of the MW range of the training set compounds.

According to these results, the assessed UVCB substance appears slightly volatile from surface water.
