Conclusion on classification

The 7- and 28-day Transformation/Dissolution results for lithium manganese iron phosphate were compared with acute and chronic ERVs for the soluble forms of the respective metals found in the source substances and no environmental classifications were found to be applicable. The test item is therefore not classified for acute or chronic aquatic toxicity. Ecotoxicity data for potential read across substances lithium iron phosphate and trimanganese bis(orthophosphate) determined unbounded (>) EC50 values, indicating no acute toxicity at the limit of solubility, although no chronic data are available for these substances.
