First-aid measures

If unconscious place in recovery position and seek medical advice. When in doubt or if symptoms are observed, get medical advice.

After inhalation: Provide fresh air.

After contact with skin:

Wash immediately with plenty of water and soap.

After contact with eyes:

Flush immediately with plenty of flowing water for 10 to 15 minutes holding eyelids apart and consult an ophthalmologist. Protect uninjured eye.

After ingestion:

Rinse mouth thoroughly with water. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person or a person with

cramps. Do NOT induce vomiting.

Fire-fighting measures

Sustainable extinguishing media: Water spray jet, Dry extinguishing powder ,Carbon dioxide (CO2), alcohol resistant foam

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Full water jet

In case of fire may be liberated:

Carbon dioxide (CO2) Carbon monoxide. Do not inhale explosion and combustion gases.

Advice for firefighters:

Special protective equipment for firefighters

Additional information:

Move undamaged containers from immediate hazard area if it can be done safely. Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. Do not allow entering drains or surface water.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures:

Provide adequate ventilation. Use personal protection equipment.

Environmental precautions:

Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains. Retain contaminated washing water and dispose it.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Take up mechanically, placing in appropriate containers for disposal. Cover drains.

Handling and storage

Advice on safe handling:

When using do not eat, drink, smoke, sniff. Use only in well-ventilated areas.

Advice on protection against fire and explosion:

Measures to prevent aerosol and dust generation. Usual measures for fire prevention.

Requirements for storage rooms and vessels: Keep only in the original container in a cool, well-ventilated place. Recommended storage temperature 15-25°C

Advice on storage compatibility:

Do not store together with food and feedingstuffs

Exposure controls / personal protection

Appropriate engineering controls: Provide adequate ventilation

Protective and hygiene measures: Advices on general occupational hygiene

Eye/face protection: Wear eye/face protection. Recommended eye protection articles DIN EN 166

Hand protection: The quality of the protective gloves resistant to chemicals must be chosen as a function of the specific working place concentration and quantity of hazardous substances.

Skin protection: Wear suitable protective clothing

Respiratory protection: In case of inadequate ventilation wear respiratory protection.

Environmental exposure controls: Do not allow to enter into surface water or drains

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: This material is considered to be non-reactive under normal use conditions

Chemical stability: The substance is chemically stable under recommended conditions of storage, use and temperature

Possibility of hazardous reactions: No known hazardous reactions

Conditions to avoid: Oxygen, Heat, Humidity

Incompatible materials: Acid; Oxidising agent, strong

Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon monoxide, Carbon dioxide

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods

Advice on disposal: Dispose of waste according to applicable legislation. Consult the appropriate local waste disposal expert about

waste disposal.
