Description of key information
Under this section, environmental behaviour of the substance is investigated. Due to its complex nature, it was impossible to test hydrolysis properties. To determine adsoprtion properties, a constituents approach was performed, with data on two LSI (Lead Substance Indicators) selected for CSA purposes. Based on this assessment, koc ranges between 421 and 3050 L/kg.
Nonetheless, biological degradation was investigated with a 301F study performed under GLP compliance, the registered substance was found to be not readily biodegradable, based on a degradation rate < 60% after 28 days of incubation. Moreover, the biodegradation rate was above 60% after 60 days of test. Therefore, the substance is regarded as not persistant.
