Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Conclusion on CLP

Short-term effect values are available for aquatic invertebrates and algae and one long-term effect value is available for aquatic algae. The available acute effect concentrations indicated that aquatic algae are more sensitive with an ErC50 (72 h) of 65.0 mg/L. However, both acute effect concentrations are clearly > 1.0 mg/L. Therefore, the substance is not classified as acutely hazardous to the environment. While the available chronic effect value for aquatic algae does not trigger classification, the available acute effect concentration for other levels (i.e. aquatic invertebrates) triggers classification and labelling of the substance as Chronic 3 for long-term environmental hazards since the substance is not rapidly biodegradable, in accordance with the consolidated version of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 and further amendments.
