Final Result

The HPLC method revealed a n-octanol/water partition coefficient (log Pow) for the test substance:

log Pow (Perlastan SCV) = 5.7 (at 23±1°C)

The worst case log Pow calculated from the retention time of the peak cut-off was 6.8. The averaged log Pow including the retention time from the start to the peak cut-off was 5.0.
