Any other information on results incl. tables

Three independent measurements at 19.3°C (assay No. 1), 18.7°C (assay No. 2) and 19.0°C (assay No. 3) were done. Run No. 1 of assay No. 2 was not taken into account because it did not comply with the quality criterion. A longer stabilisation time of the pressure was needed to obtain three consequent runs complying with the quality criterion.

The three assays resulted in relative densities of 4.894 ± 0.004, 4.804 ± 0.004 and 4.848 ± 0.002, respectively. The mean relative density was thus 4.849 ± 0.045 at 19.0 °C.

Reference volume (Va) was 79.250 cm³.

Volume of sample cell holder (Vc) was 27.636 cm³.

Test item sample weight was 14.1562 g, 13.8138 g and 14.3944 g in assay No. 1, 2 and 3, respectively.

The measurements are described in the table in the next section.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The relative density of ytterbium doped yttrium disilicate was determined according to EU A.3 method and OECD test guideline 109 in compliance with GLP using a gas comparison pycnometer. The relative density of the test item was determined to be 4.849 ± 0.045 at 19.0°C.
