Administrative data
First-aid measures
General: Move exposed person to fresh air.
Inhalation: If inhaled, move exposed to fresh air. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Ingestion: If swallowed, rinse mouth with water (only if the person is conscious). Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Skin contact: Wash with soap and water. Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
Eye contact: Rinse with plenty of running water. Get medical attention if symptoms occur.
First aid facilities: No special recommendations.
Protection of first-aiders: No action shall be taken involving any personal risks or without suitable training.
Fire-fighting measures
Small fire: Use dry chemical powder or CO2.
Large fire: Use water spray, foam or dry chemical powder.
Vapours are explosive in air at temperatures higher higher than the flash point (108 °C)
Accidental release measures
Use suitable personal protection equipment.
Small spill and leak: Take up with suitable material, e.g. rag. Place in suitable container. Clean the affected area with copious amounts of water.
Large spill and leak: Absorb with inert material, e.g. dry sand or earth. Place in chemical waste container. Recycle if possible. Clean the affected area with copious amounts of water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Use adequate ventilation.
Storage: Store in a fireproof location. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame, and direct sunlight. Keep away from incompatible materials.
