  Discussion

As the test item was a complex mixture, it was considered that the pour point method was the most appropriate test method.

Conclusions:
The pour point of the test item has been determined to be 43 ± 3 °C (316 ± 3 K).

The general physico-chemical properties of 4,4'-Isopropylidenediphenol, oligomeric reaction products with 1-chloro-2,3-epoxypropane, reaction products with diethylenetriamine have been determined. 

Melting/Freezing Temperature 43 ± 3 °C (316 ± 3 K), using pour point method, designed to be compatible with Method A.1 Melting/Freezing Temperature of Commission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008 and Method 102 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 27 July 1995.
