Additional information
In soil, titanium tetrachloride will rapidly react with soil moisture forming the naturally occcuring titanium dioxide and hydrochloric acid. Based on the low solubility of titanium dioxide in water, its natural presence in the environment and on the low toxicity observed in aquatic tests, no effects on terrestrial organisms are expected.
