Classification justification according to CLP

Based on the available data the Sulfonium compound mixture is considered to be rapidly degradable and has a low potential for bioaccumulation. The acute aquatic toxicity L(E)C50 is below 1 mg/L. The lowest NOEC is in the range of > 0.01 to < 0.1 mg/L. Hence, the mixture needs to be classified and labeled as environmental hazard Acute Cat. 1 and Chronic Cat. 2 according to the Regulation (EC) No.1272/2008 (CLP) and the Regulation (EU) No. 286/2011 (2nd ATP).

Classification justification according to DSD

Based on the available data the Sulfonium compound mixture is considered to be ready biodegradable and has a low potential for bioaccumulation. The acute aquatic toxicity L(E)C50 is below 1 mg/L. Hence, the mixture needs to be classified and labeled as environmental hazard N R50 according to Directive 67/548/EEC.
