Description of key information

Flash point (tripotassium propylsilanetriolate in aqueous solution): >95°C (ISO 2719)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
95 °C

Additional information

A measured flash point of >95°C was determined for the registration substance in accordance with the ISO 2719 test method. The result is considered to be reliable.

A flash point of >95°C indicates that the substance should not be classified as a flammable liquid according to the criteria of Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.

Commercial products with greater concentrations of ethanol might exist so could impact the flammability classification of the substance. If this is the case, the Registrant will classify their product accordingly.
