Description of key information

Surface tension (20°C; 1 g/L): 31.7 mN/m

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:
31.7
in mN/m at 20°C and concentration in mg/L:
1 000

Additional information

In the non-GLP Klimisch 1 study from Frischmann (2013) the surface tension of Reaction products of ricinoleic acid with 2-aminoethanol and maleic acid and sodium hydrogensulfite was determined according to test method EEC A.5 with the ring method at 20 °C and a concentration of 1 g/L to be 31.7 mN/m.

The result is considered acceptable for the risk assessment.
