non flammable

Additional information

In the non-GLP Klimisch 1 study from Bütfering (2012), the flammability of Reaction products of ricinoleic acid with 2-aminoethanol and maleic acid and sodium hydrogensulfite was determined according to EU method A.10.In the preliminary screening test the substance does ignite by a hot flame from the gas burner but the combustion did not propagate along the train. The flame disappeared after few seconds. Therefore the main test was not performed. According to the definition in the Council Regulation (EC) No 440/2008EEC the test item is not considered as flammable.

This information is considered to be relevant and reliable for the further risk assessment.
