Description of key information

Acute toxicity of Daphnia magna for IFF TM 11 -213 was tested according to OECD TG 202. The nominal concentrations were 1.0, 1.8, 3.2, 5.6 and 10 % v/v saturated solution resulting in geometric mean concentration of 0.32, 0.75, 1.5, 2.7 and 5.0 mg/l. After 24h at 0.75 mg/l 5% immobilisation was observed and at 1.5 and 2.7 mg/l the immobilisation was 65 and 100%, respectively. After 48h at 0.75 mg/l the immobilisation was 55% and at 1.5 mg/l and higher concentrations it was 100%, resulting in an EC50 of 0.69 mg/l.
