Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Based on the BIOWIN predictions, none of the constituents are concluded to be persistent or very persistent. Some constituents are within the range where further information could be warranted, but for these structures the BIOWIN 3 predictions are close to the threshold for non-persistence and it is considered unlikely that these constituents would be persistent, and they would not be very persistent.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
readily biodegradable

Additional information

QSAR predictions were conducted for C8 - C18 constituents of the registered substance using the US EPA BIOWIN model (v4.10 of EPISuite v4.11, US EPA 2010). The molecular weights and the structural fragments of the modelled constituents are within the range of the training and validation set compounds and therefore the model predictions are considered to be suitable for these structures. Persistence was assessed based on the results from BIOWIN 2, 3 and 6, in accordance with the ECHA PBT guidance.
