Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

TERRESTRIAL TOXICITY

For the registration substance three terrestrial trophic levels are covered with the available tests and read across:

1) AUTOTROPHS (Producer)

Terrestrial plant studies (9 different species) read across from Quat DHTDMAC (CASNo. 61789-80-8) with NOEC between 40 and 1400 mg/kg dw (median value is 1000 mg/kg dw.)

 2) HETEROTROPHS (Consumer)

Chronic Earthworm (Eisenia fetida), OECD 222, Chronic nematode (Caenorhabditis elegans) ISO 10872

 3) DETRITIVORS (Decomposer)

Chronic Soil microorganisms, OECD 216

In Table the different test results for the terrestrial compartment are given.
