Description of key information

The atmospheric oxidation half life of chlorocresol was estimated using level III multimedia model it indicates that chlorocresol is not persistent in air medium as the half life period of chlorocresol in air is only 0.62 days. From this it is concluded that chlorocresol is rapidly phototransformed in air.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life in air:
0.62 d
