Additional information

Methyl Isopropyl Ketone (MIPK) was determined to be readily biodegradable by an OECD Guideline 301 D (Closed Bottle Test) conducted under GLP conditions. As the substance is readily biodegradable and showed a high degree of rapid and ultimate biodegradation, further studies on hydrolysis or phototransformation are not proposed.
