Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The long-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates is calculated by ECOSAR v1.11. Lowest chronic toxicity value for Daphnid, is

13.908 g/L derived by calculation from ECOSAR class Benzyl Alcohols. The calculated chronic toxicity value for Neutral Organic Structure Analysis Relationship (baseline toxicity) for Daphnid is 17.202 g/L. The high values reflect the low toxicity. The EPA recommends that empirical measures provide better results. However, empirical studies have not been done, so that we adapt the prediction.
