Description of key information
The water solubility of bromotrifluoromethane is reported to be 320 mg/L in the EPIsuite experimental database. This value comes from a handbook from Hansch et al. (1982) and should be used as key value.

No experimental study report is available regarding the water solubility of CBrF3. Nevertheless, this data is reported in several reports:
The toxicological sheet of CBrF3 edited by INRS (National Research and Safety Institute, a French Institute competent in the area of occupational risk prevention) gives a solubility of 300 mg/L.
The value 300 mg/L is also mentioned in a report from Howard & Darkin (1973).
Finally, the water solubility of bromotrifluoromethane is reported to be 320 mg/L in the EPIsuite experimental database. This value comes from a handbook from Hansch et al. (1982) and should be used as key value.
