Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Daphnids were exposed to a WAF of the test substance during 48 hours at loading rates of 6.25, 12.5, 25, 50 and 100 mg/L (measured 48 h TWA2.44, 2.11, 8.60 and 16.9 mg/L) (BMG 2012). Based on the observed immobility the EC50 was calculated to be 4.097 mg/L.

Additional information

In addition to the test with the test substance two tests with structural analogues are available. The LD50 values found in these tests 8.2 mg/L (Hüls 1989, nominal) and 18.8 mg/L (P&G 2010, measured) are considered similar. The test substance represents a worst case.

The rationale for read-across is included in chapter 13.
