Description of key information

Sec Butyl Quinoline was tested for its toxicity on Daphnia magna in a 48 h acute toxicity study conducted according to OECD TG 202 under static conditions at the following nominal concentrations: 0 (control), 0.46, 1.0, 2.2, 4.6 and 10% of the WSF prepared at 100 mg/L. At the start of the test the concentration of the WSF prepared at 100 mg/L was 65 mg/L. The actual test concentrations remained stable during the entire exposure period (99 -104% of initial). Therefore the initial measured concentrations were used to derive the 48h EC50 being 2.5 mg/L.
