Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Additional information

The study was carried out with two replicates, using a sieving methodology. Samples (10.010 g for replicate 1 and 10.012 g for replicate 2) of the test item were transferred to a sieve system (after removal of fine powder), where the particles encountered a series of 4 sieves with decreasing mesh sizes. The mesh sizes of the sieves were 18, 35, 60, 140 mesh and container. After shaking for 20 minutes, the particles retained in each of the sieves were collected, and weighed. These data were used to determine the granulometric distribution of the substance, expressed as a particle size distribution by mass.
