A study was conducted to determine the flammability of the test substance according to EU Method A.10. The determination was carried out with the powdery test substance which was formed into a particle train. A hot flame from a gas burner was used to ignite the pile at one end. The flame ceased a few seconds after removing the gas burner. Therefore, the combustion was beyond the specified time frame for flammability of 4 minutes for 200 mm. Under the study conditions, the test substance was not considered as flammable (Bütfering, 2013).
