Description of key information

The bioaccumulation potential of C12-14 alkylmorpholine was estimated to be 79.74 L/kg wet weight (log BCF = 1.79) according to the BCFBAF v3.01 model of EPIWEB v 4.1. This low bioaccumulation potential is supported by extreme short half-lives as observed in an in-vitro test system using rainbow trout hepatic S9 subcellular fraction using the Cellzdirect/Invitrogen Hepatic Rainbow Trout S9 Incubation Protocol.

Additional information

The bioaccumulation potential of C12-14 alkylmorpholine was estimated to be 79.74 L/kg wet weight (log BCF = 1.79) according to the BCFBAF v3.01 model of EPIWEB v 4.1.

The half life used for this BCF estimation was for the C12 alkylmorpholine 0.306 days (normalized to 10 g fish). In an in-vitro biotransformation test half-lives of 0.011 to 0.01125 days were observed.

The half life used for this BCF estimation was for the C14 alkylmorpholine 0.58 days (normalized to 10 g fish). In an in-vitro biotransformation test half-lives of 0.0142 to 0.024 days were observed.

The extreme short half-lifes as observed in an in-vitro test system using rainbow trout hepatic S9 subcellular fraction using the Cellzdirect/Invitrogen Hepatic Rainbow Trout S9 Incubation Protocol strongly support the estimated low bioaccumulation potential of C12 -14 alkylmorpholine.
