Endpoint:
vapour pressure
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Study period:
16 March 2010 - 14 June 2010
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 104 (Vapour Pressure Curve)
Deviations:
no
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.4 (Vapour Pressure)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)
Type of method:
effusion method: by loss of weight or by trapping vaporisate
Temp.:
20 °C
Vapour pressure:
< 0.001 Pa
Conclusions:
The isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method was chosen for the determination of the vapour pressure of MIZULAN FL-80. The vapour pressure of the test substance at 20°C (293K) was < 1.47 x 10^-3 Pa = < 1.10 x 10^-5 mm Hg.

Description of key information

The vapour pressure of the test substance (reaction mass of C16/C18MES) at 20°C (293K) was < 1.47 x 10^-3 Pa = < 1.10 x 10^-5 mm Hg.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0.001 Pa
at the temperature of:
20 °C
