Additional information

One guideline study investigating the biodegradation in water of D-Glucopyranose, oligomeric, heptyl glycoside is available. The potential for ready biodegradability of the substance was investigated in a test according to the OECD guideline 301F ("Ready Biodegradability: Manometric Respirometry Test") (Institut Technologique FCBA, 2011). Domestic activated sludge was used as inoculum. The test resulted in 82.25% biodegradation after 28 days based on O2-consumption, also fulfilling the 10-day criterion. Thus, the test item is considered as readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
