Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No genotoxicity data are available for the PA6T salt [1,4-benzenedioic acid, compound with hexane-1,6-diamine (1:1)]. There is a lack of genotoxicity seen with either hexamethylenediamine or terephthalic acid. In addition, the PA66 salt [adipic acid, compound with hexane-1,6-diamine (1:1); CAS# 3323-53-3; EC# 222-037-3] shows no genotoxic activity in vitro or in vivo. Therefore, PA6T salt is not expected to be genotoxic.

Endpoint Conclusion:

Justification for classification or non-classification

Based on data from component chemicals and similar salts the test substance is not expected to be genotoxic. Therefore the test substance is not classified for genetic toxicity to according to EU Directive 67/548/EEC and EU Classification, Labelling and Packaging of Substances and Mixtures (CLP) Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008.
