Conclusions:
The partition coefficient (log Pow) of Diacid 1550 is 3.36 - 7.61 at 30ºC and pH 7.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of Diacid 1550 was investigated according to OECD guideline 117 under GLP using the HPLC method. The partition coefficient was found to be 3.36 - 7.61 at 30ºC and pH 7. 73.4% of the UVCB has a log Pow of 6.36 - 6.61.

Additional information

In a key study, the partition coefficient of Diacid 1550 was investigated according to OECD guideline 117 under GLP using the HPLC method. The partition coefficient was found to be 3.36 - 7.61 at 30ºC and pH 7. 73.4% of the UVCB has a log Pow of 6.36 - 6.61.

A supporting study reported a log Kow of 7.09 at pH 2. Because of the non-neutral pH at which this test was performed, it was selected as a supporting study.
