Description of key information

Due to the structural properties, hydrolysis is not expected to be an important fate path.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

According to Harris (1990) and Boethling et al. (2000), alkanes as well as amines are generally resistant towards hydrolysis as they do not contain labile functional groups. Hence, hydrolysis is not expected to be an important fate path in the aquatic environment. Therefore no test on hydrolysis is performed.
