Executive summary:

Acute fish toxicity study with FAT 40062/A was carried out in trout fish according to in house SOP (method A.11) validated by Ciba which is comparable to standard OECD guideline 203. Total 8 trout fishes were used per concentration. The pH was between 7.4 to 8. Three concentrations 100, 200 and 1000 mg/l were used in this study. After 48 h, all the fishes were survived in all the three test concentrations used in the study. No mortality was found in the study up to highest concentration of 1000 mg/l. So, based on the study results, LC50 for FAT 40062/A in fish is >1000 mg/l.
