Additional information

One GLP ready biodegradation study is available for C8-14AS NH4 (CAS 90583-10-1; Richterich 1991). The test was performed according to OECD guideline 301 A. Domestic, non-adapted activated sludge obtained from a sewage treatment plant was used as inoculum and the initial concentration of the test substance was 10 mg/L as DOC. Based on DOC removal, biodegradation reached 82% after 7 days and 96% after 28 days. The substance is readily biodegradable according to OECD criteria.
