In the Klimisch 1 non-GLP study from Kintrup (2012) the boiling point of Butanedioic acid, 2(or 3)-sulfo-, 4-[2-[(1-oxododecyl)amino]ethyl]ester, disodium salts was determined with the DSC method according to OECD 103 and EU method A.2. The test item shows a boiling and /or decomposition at ca. 240 °C (at 1022 mBar) (a decomposition is most likely due to the strong residue in the crucible at ca. 600 °C) according to the definition in the OECD Guideline 103 (mean value from repeat determinations; 1st heating run).

For the risk assessment a boiling point of 240°C will be used.
