Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Executive summary:

In the non-GLP Klimisch 1 study from Bütfering (2012) the particle size distribution of the test item Butanedioic Acid, 2(or 3)-Sulfo-, 4-[2-[(1-Oxododecyl) amino] ethyl]ester, Disodium Salt was determined using the sieving method according to DIN 66165 with sieve sizes ranging from 125 to 5000 µm. The mass median diameter (MMD) of the test item was calculated to be 3710 µm.

This result is considered relevant and reliable for the risk assessment.

Description of key information
