Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

No experimental data are available for RAV 7MC (EC 700-742-1). For justification of the intended read-across approach of Diallyl-2,2 ยด-oxydiethyl dicarbonate (EC 205 -528 -7) toReaction mass of 2,2'-oxydiethanol and 2,2-dimethylpropane-1,3-diol and diallyl 2,2'-oxydiethyl dicarbonate and diallyl carbonate and pentaerythritol' (EC 700 -742 -1), please refer to the overall summary of aquatic toxicity test results.

The freshwater study was performed with Daphnia magna under static conditions and in accordance with the US-EPA method number 660/3-75-009 (Suprenant and Le Blanc, 1982). An LC50 of 18 mg/L was determined after test duration of 48 hours.

The static marine toxicity test was conducted according to le internal procedures of the EG&G Bionomics Marine Research Laboratory (BMRL) on mysid shrimp (Mysidopsis bahia) as test species (Scott Ward, 1982). The LC50(96h) was determined to be 70.7 mg/L with 95 % confidence limits of 55.6 โ€“ 77.6 mg/L.
