Additional information

According to the estimated results and the interpretation from Swann (Swann et al. 1983), thymol has a moderate to high adsorption potential in soil/sludge with the adsorption coefficient (log Koc) of 2.9 - 3.17 (QSAR, 2021). Thymol is essentially not volatile with the Henry's law constant H of 0.122 Pa m³/mol at 25 °C (QSAR, 2021) from aquatic media according to the criteria of Thomas (1990). The distribution calculation (Mackay level I) showed that the main target compartment for tyhmol is water of 67.8 %, soil of 10.7 % and sediment of 10.8%, followed by air of 10.6 %.
