Description of key information

The pKa values could not be determined experimentally. The dissociation constant of the substance was therefore calculated from its structural formula using the Perrin calculation method: pKa (acidic)= 16.3; pKa (basic)= none.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

pKa at 20°C:
16.3

Additional information

The titration method (low water solubility) or the spectrophotometric method (no absorbance maxima recorded for the substance at pH 1 or pH 13) were not applicable to the substance.

The study was performed in accordance with OECD 112 and EPA OPPTS 830.7370 guidelines and according to the principles of GLP.
