First-aid measures

Emergency measure:

- Inhalation: Move to fresh air.

- Eyes: Immediately flush eye(s) with plenty of water.

- Skin: Wash off with plenty of water.

- Ingestion: Rinse mouth.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry chemical, CO2, water spray or regular foam.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

nitrogen.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn (CEN: EN 137); Protective clothing (CEN: EN469); Protective gloves (CEN: EN659); Helmet (CEN: EN 443)

Special fire fighting procedures: Use standard firefighting procedures and consider the hazards of other involved materials. Prevent spillage and fire-fighting water from entering in public sewers or the immediate environment.

Environmental precautions: Prevent from entering sewers ar immediat environment.Accidental release of large quantities into the aquatic environment may harm aquatic organisms.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb onto inert material and dispose of according to Controlled Waste Regulations. Remove small spills with plenty of water. Water contaminated with this product may be sent to a sanitary sewer treatment facility, or a permitted waste treatment facility, in accordance with any local agreements.

Handling and storage

Coagulant 122 is never handled under solid form, but under diluted form

Precaution for safe handling: Avoid contamination with metals (iron, copper, brass, zinc and aluminium) and caustic

Conditions for safe storage:

Store containers closed when not in use.

Store away from oxidizers and bases.
